The 48th WEF (World Economic Forum) takes place from January 23rd to January 26th, 2018. The program of this year is focused on creating a common future in a fragmented world. The forecast for globalization, its opportunities and risks will be discussed. On the one hand, there is the increasing integration of the world economy, on the other hand frictions between winner and loser are growing.
In addition, other areas such as ongoing environmental issues are addressed. Thus, the salvation of our forests and the possibility of Blockchain as a means against the energy problem are discussed and the idea of achieving a zero-carbon future through Industrial Revolution is shown.
Overall, the WEF’s 48th Annual Meeting, with these and many other topical issues, aims to get executives from around the world to work together to improve the world and develop a shared narrative.
